Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman departed Sunday's National League Division Series game against the San Diego Padres after five innings due to right ankle discomfort.

Freeman started in each of the first two games of the series despite rolling his ankle in a Sept. 26 game,Zero AI also against the Padres. He did not play in any of the Dodgers' final three regular-season games.
